Idle No More Duluth is holding a forum to discuss the trafficking of Indigenous women in the harbor and the greater Duluth area on Thursday, September 19th at 7:00 pm at Trepainer Hall, 212 West Second Street.

Panelists will include Christine Stark, Babette Sandman and Reyna Crow.

The primary purposed of this forum is to give concerned members of our community the opportunity to gain information, ask questions and speak to their own thoughts and feelings on what we might do, at a grassroots level, as daughters and sons, mothers and fathers, grandparents, cousins, friends and neighbors to withdraw what appears to be a `social license’ to traffick people, especially Anishinaabeg people, in our area.

What is the Occupy Movement?

The Occupy Movement is a leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.
