I have been thinking that Minnesota could be a leader in a vital area that would impact everyone: a determined effort to GO OFF THE GRID! How? A raffle/lottery: for a $10.00 ticket; the individual has ten chances to win the technology (whether owned home or rental), thereby freeing up family budgets, lessening our environmental footprint, and creating jobs! I propose this be done state by state, as most states already have lotteries/expertise. Also, when ticket sales reach $1,000,000; 10 numbers are pulled to win. The same on the next $1,000,000 threshold…$100,000 from each million for adm./co-ord. costs, and leaving $90,000 each winners portion to purchase the appropriate technology for their situation. Let’s go for it! Let the 1% and mega business see what can be done by the 99%! Start knocking down the obstacles for self-sufficiency NOW. All my best to you. If I wasn’t in a wheelchair, I’d be there…child of the 60′s.

WHAT IS THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT?

Occupy is a leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.
